Wedding Planner Games Online For Free

Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, especially if you are trying to plan everything yourself.  If you are like many women trying to plan their wedding, you have probably hired an online wedding planner.  A wedding planner can make the wedding planning process go very smoothly with little or no hang-ups.  A wedding planner is essential if you want to keep your stress level low and have all the arrangements made correctly.  However, planning your wedding doesn’t have to be all work and no play!  Many women are choosing to be less conventional in their planning as well as in their actual wedding ceremony and reception by engaging in a few wedding planner games online.

A current trend that is quickly catching on is the addition of wedding planner games.  Wedding planner games have always been around, but they are not for everyone.  Some couples choose to have a more conventional and formal wedding ceremony and reception.  However, adding games to your reception is a great way to have fun with your friends and family and it is also a great way for everyone to get to know one another.  You can ask your wedding planner if he or she has ever planned a wedding that included games as part of the reception.  Your wedding planner will probably say that they have.

Before you begin to think about the types of wedding planner games you will have at your wedding reception there are a few things you need to take into consideration first.

  • Make sure that you have a comprehensive list of all the people who will be attending your wedding reception.
  • Separate the list into different age groups so that you will have age appropriate games for everyone attending your wedding reception.

Wedding Planner Games

Musical Chairs

Musical chairs is a great wedding reception game that has been around for a very long time.  This is a great game for everyone to play, especially children.  You can spice up this game by playing different types of music or by having your guests hop on one foot, clap, sing, or pat their heads while they circle the chairs.  If you are having a summer wedding, you may want to play musical beach chairs or musical beach towels.  You can customize your game to suit your theme or the time of year your wedding will be taking place.  You should have a prize chosen for the last person who is still standing.

Hot Bouquet

This game is just like hot potato, except you use a bouquet instead of a potato.  This is a very simple game that children and adults alike will enjoy.  Make sure you have a list of guests that will be playing as well as music and a bouquet.  Have everyone stand in a circle.  When the music starts, the bouquet is passed around as fast as possible.  If someone drops the bouquet, they are out.  If someone is still holding the bouquet while the music is stopped, they are out.  You should have a prize chosen for the last person who is still standing.

Battle of the Sexes

This is a popular wedding reception game that is played among the adults.  For this game you will need to choose one person who will not be playing the game.  This person will be the one who comes up with a list of trivia questions to be answered by the two teams (male team and female team).  There is a leader of each team who is equipped with a whistle.  After a question is asked each team’s leader will blow the whistle to answer.  Whoever blows the whistle first gets to answer.  At the end of the game, whichever team has the most points for questions answered correctly, wins.  The winning team can then choose from a list of things for the losing team to do.  You can add just about anything to this list such as cleaning up after the reception or having the losing team drink.

Bride and Groom Trivia

This is always a great game to play to get to know the bride and the groom better.  Depending on the types of questions that are made, this game can be appropriate for children as well as adults.  It’s a pretty simple game.  All you need to do is come up with a list of questions about the bride and a list of questions about the groom.  You can then divide the group of guests playing into two sides.  One side will be the groom’s guests and the other will be the bride’s guests.  If a person was a guest of both then they can choose which side they’d like to be on.  A designated person will ask the questions to the opposite side.  The team who has the most correct answers will win at the end of the game.  You could ask questions like, what is the bride’s favorite color or what is the groom’s favorite movie and so on.  The possibilities are endless!

Bride!  Groom!

Bride Groom is a game that is similar to Marco Polo.  Marco Polo is usually a game that is played in a swimming pool, but this version can be a great wedding reception game as well.  However, the object of this game is a little bit different.  This is a game that is appropriate for all ages so the children can play as well!  In this game, the groom is blindfolded while the other players are not, including the bride.  The groom will call out to his bride, “BRIDE!”, and everyone will call back “GROOM!”.  The object of the game is for the groom to find his bride.  You can also play this game the other way around and have the bride try to find her groom!

Your wedding should be a memorable and fun time for you and your guests.  Enjoy the time you have to spend with your friends, family, partner, and even new friends and family by adding games to your wedding.  Games are a great way to keep the atmosphere fun and light for all that are attending.

There are also games that you, the bride-to-be, can play to get a feel for what a wedding planner does.  There are many online wedding planner games where you can take on the role of the wedding planner planning a wedding for another couple.  These games are meant to be fun as well as educational.  They help you understand the wedding planning process and what a wedding planner actually does.  You can search online for ‘wedding planning games’ and a large assortment of games will come up for you to choose from.  This is also helpful because you may be able to find things that are easy for you to do that can free up some time for the wedding planner.  There is a lot that goes into planning a wedding.  The more you understand about planning a wedding, the better equipped you will be when it comes time to plan.
